APPLICATION CLOSES TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2025 AT 11:59PM

We are so grateful to continue our new partnership with the Marrazzo Family Foundation that is expanding the number and amounts for these Philadelphia-based Teaching Artist Micro-Grants.  The Marrazzo Family Foundation is based in Philadelphia and has an initial strategic focus of supporting the integration of creativity and the arts in educating Philadelphia youth, in ways that are novel, interdisciplinary, and visionary.

The Marrazzo/Bartol Teaching Artist Micro-Grant awards of $1,000 help teaching artists complete community-based arts education projects that are underway; to support their own professional development as teaching artists; or to buy equipment/materials essential to their teaching artist practice.  The engagement of community members as active art(s)-makers is essential to any application.

Note that the application will close at exactly 11:59pm even if you are in the middle of completing your application so don't wait until the last minute!  You can save a draft of your application and return to it to complete it.  We suggest uploading your attachments first since sometimes you may have glitches that delay submitting your application!  You can preview the application questions here before you start.

You will receive an acknowledgement via email when you have successfully submitted your application.  Save this to show you have submitted by the deadline.  If you do not receive a confirmation email, your submission wasn't received.

The project must be already confirmed or underway so the funds can be used by June 30, 2025.

NOTE: If an organization you are working with was awarded a Bartol Foundation grant in July  2024, you cannot also receive a teaching artist grant  for the same Bartol-funded project.
